Built for the first 50 Toronto studios.
Most class-engagement tools were built for HIIT gyms with a strap on every member. Dance studios don't work that way — dancers don't want a strap, the music is the heartbeat, and the energy is the whole point. So we built the opposite: camera-only, on-device, real-time, on the studio TV.

I build software and I love how dance classes feel. The energy is already there — every Tuesday night, every Saturday morning. The only thing missing is a way for the room to see it together, and for the studio to keep that energy on the books after class ends.
That's what DanceFitness.fit is. No straps. No apps. Just dance. Built camera-first because dancers refuse straps and the music already is the heartbeat. PIPEDA-aligned because Toronto studios care about it. Free for the first 30 days because the only way to know if it works for you is to run a class.
If you're a studio owner reading this — hit reply on any of our emails or write to dancefitness.fit@gmail.com. I read every message from a Toronto studio personally during the pilot.
Three rules we don't break.
On-device by default
Motion sensing runs on the studio TV. Pixel data never leaves the room. The only thing we store is one tiny thumbnail at peak class energy, auto-deleted after 30 days.
No biometrics, ever
No facial recognition, no gait re-identification, no per-dancer tracking across sessions. We measure energy in aggregate. The system reads the room, not the people.
One TV, one price
$199/mo for a single studio. $149/mo per location for chains. No per-member fees that punish you for filling classes. The math should reward growth, not tax it.
