Who are your classes suitable for?
Our classes are designed for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or dance experience! We offer modifications for different levels, so you can challenge yourself at your own pace. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned dancer, you’ll find a class that’s perfect for you.
Where are your classes held?
We primarily hold our classes at Canoe Landing Community Centre in downtown Toronto. We also offer classes at other convenient downtown locations, including the CityPlace amenity spaces in Condos. Reach out for specific locations and times.
What are your pricing options?
We offer flexible pricing options to suit your needs:
Free Trial: Experience the fun for free with our complimentary trial class.
Single Class: Drop in anytime for a single class for $20.
Monthly Unlimited: Enjoy unlimited classes for one month for $120.
Two Months Unlimited: Get two months of unlimited access for $200 (save $40!).
Do I need to sign up in advance for classes?
We recommend signing up in advance to secure your spot. You can easily book your classes through our website or contact us directly.
How should I prepare for my first class?
– Wear comfortable workout clothes that allow you to move freely.
– Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
– Arrive a few minutes early to introduce yourself and get settled.
– Most importantly, come ready to have fun and dance your heart out!
How can I pay for the sessions?
We accept multiple payment methods including interac transfer and cash. You can pay in person before the class or conveniently online.
What if classes get canceled?
In the rare event that a class is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ll notify you as soon as possible via WhatsApp or email. We’ll then provide options to either reschedule your class or receive a full refund for the missed session.
What is your policy for missed classes in monthly package?
Our monthly packages include 8 sessions over a 4-week period. These packages are designed to encourage regular attendance and commitment to your fitness journey. Unfortunately, we don’t offer makeup classes or extensions for missed sessions within the package. However you can always opt for our “Groove & Go” single-class option if you need more flexibility in your schedule.
What is the duration of each class and what is the class structure like?
Each DanceFitness.fit class is a power-packed hour of fun and fitness! Here’s the typical structure:
– Warm-up (5-10 minutes): We’ll get your body moving and your heart pumping with dynamic stretches and light cardio exercises.
– High- & Low-Intensity Dance Routines (45 minutes): Get ready to sweat and groove to a mix of upbeat songs and choreographed routines, featuring a variety of dance styles like Bollywood, salsa, reggaeton, and more. We’ll alternate between high- and low-intensity songs to keep you challenged and engaged throughout the workout.
– Cool-down (5 minutes): We’ll finish with gentle stretches and relaxation techniques to help your body recover and leave you feeling refreshed and energized.
This structure ensures a well-rounded workout that combines cardio, strength and flexibility training, all while having a blast on the dance floor!
How many people typically attend a class?
Our class sizes vary, but we aim to keep them small enough for personalized attention and a sense of community. You can expect anywhere from 5 to 10 participants in a typical class.
What is the level of intensity of your classes?
Our classes are designed to be energizing and challenging, but we offer modifications for all fitness levels. You can adjust the intensity to suit your needs and progress at your own pace. On average, our participants burn between 400 to 550 active calories per session, showcasing the effectiveness of our workouts!
Can I join a class if I have no prior dance experience?
Absolutely! Our classes are perfect for beginners. We’ll guide you through the steps and make sure you feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor.
Who is the instructor at DanceFitness.fit?
Sagar is the passionate and experienced instructor behind DanceFitness.fit. With over 16 years of dance experience, Sagar is dedicated to creating a fun and inclusive environment where everyone can achieve their fitness goals through the joy of dance.
Can I bring my kid to the session?
Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer childcare services during our classes. However, if your child is old enough to sit quietly and watch, you’re welcome to bring them along. If not, we kindly request that you make other arrangements, as our participants come to focus on their workout and may not appreciate distractions. We understand and appreciate your cooperation in respecting everyone’s space. We’re also exploring the possibility of offering family-friendly sessions in the future, so stay tuned!
